Walking down the road
on an autumn evening,
with you beside me
was a soothing feeling.
As usual you were continuously speaking,
while I enjoyed just the listening.

Still something was missing,
something was lacking.
I tried to figure it out,
I saw your smile, your beautiful hair,
it was as pleasant as a celestial glare.
Everything around me was beautiful and fine,
and I couldn’t understand this incompletness of mine.

Then suddenly it started pouring in,
and I realised the missing thing.
You came close to me and clinched my arms,
I felt the intimacy, within your soft grasp.
That day I felt the magic of your lovely closeness,
It will always remain fresh, as a sweet fragrance.

to encourage new talents.

People come and people go,
some give happiness, and some becomes foe.
While some gives nothing, because they are to stay,
without any condition or even the slightest hesitate.
They make you feel complete, in a very special way,
just like mild rain on a lovely day.

Their heart becomes a river and you become a boat,
depending on whom, your life can easily float.
And their thoughts, you feel like cool breeze,
which can be touched when you r at peace.

All are not lucky to find someone like this,
and you are blessed if you had known him with ease,
So dont control your feelings and say what u want to say,
to make it sure that he’s forever to stay.
Coz u may not be lucky twice in a life,
to find someone like him in days of mighty strife.

आज स्‍टेशन पहुँचा तो लगा कि दक्षिण अफ्रीका पहुँच गया हूँ । जहां विश्‍व कप फुटबॉल 2010 खेला जा रहा है । कारण, इस भारी भीड़ में विभिन्‍न टीमों की जर्सियां पहने जाने कितने लोग खड़े थे । समाचार पत्रों व पत्रिकाओं के प्रथम पृष्‍ठ या कवर पेज भी विश्‍व कप फुटबॉल की खबरों से भरे पड़े थे । लोग आपस में चर्चा कर रहे थे तो बस फुटबॉल की । भाईजी पर नजर गई तो देखा कि वे इस माहौल का लुत्‍फ नहीं उठा रहे हैं । तभी गाड़ी आ गई । जनरल डब्‍बें की ओर मेरे कदम खिंचे चले जा रहे थे । जबकि भीड़ को देखकर मैं अगली गाड़ी की प्रतीक्षा करना चाहता था । लेकिन भाईजी जनरल डब्‍बे में घुस चुके थे । ऐसे में स्‍टेशन पर रूकने को मन मान नहीं रहा था । Read the rest of this entry →

अभी हाल ही मैं घर से दिल्ली की ओर ट्रेन से वापसी की यात्रा कर रहा था. यह घटना उसी यात्रा के दौरान घटित हुयी. कभी-कभी कुछ यात्राएं मजेदार होने के साथ बहुत कुछ सोचने पर मजबूर कर देती हैं. कुछ ऐसा ही इस सफर में भी घटित हुआ. Read the rest of this entry →

भाईजी आज एक लंबे समय के बाद नजर आए थे । कुछ चिंतित व परेशान । शायद किसी गहन विचार में डूबे हुए थे । मैं उनके पास जाता हूँ और पूछता हूँ – ‘भाईजी क्या बात है, कहां थे आप, बहुत दिनों बाद नजर आए?’

भाईजी ने जैसे मेरे प्रश्नों को सुना ही नहीं । बस बोलने लगे, ‘पारीक जी, ये बताइये हमारे देश में किसका शासन है ?’ मैं कुछ कहता उससे पहले ही बोले, ‘कानून का ना, हमारे देश का एक संविधान है जिसके अनुसार हमारे देश का सारा कामकाज चलता है । ठीक कह रहा हूँ ना मैं ?’ पता नहीं भाई जी क्या कहना चाहते हैं ! मैं असमंजस में हूँ फिर भी उनकी बात सही देख गर्दन हिलाकर स्वीकार करता हूँ । बिना समझे बोलने का तो प्रश्न ही नहीं उठता । Read the rest of this entry →
