Sanskrit name-Arjuna

Terminalia Arjuna is a shade & ornamental tree. Its principle constituents are sitosterol, Ellagic Acid & Arjunic Acid. It grows in most parts of India. Arjuna is a large evergreen tree, with a spreading crown & drooping butteressed & often fluted, the bark is very thick, green or pinkish green, smooth, exfoliating in large thin, irregular sheets. अभी हाल ही में हम शिमला गए थे. दिल्ली की गर्मी से बचने के लिए (हालांकि राहत वहां भी कम थी लेकिन थी जरुर ). दिल्ली स्टेशन से कालका-हावडा ट्रेन पकडी. रात के साढे नौ बजे थी. अब ट्रेन अगर भारत में समय पर आए तो उस समय सूरज की दिशा देखनी पडती है कि आखिर भाई आज निकला किधर से. वैसे जैसे-तैसे 11 बजे ट्रेन आई. पहले से ही टिकट रिजर्व थी सो दिक्कत कुछ थी नही. ट्रेन में सबसे बढिया जगह होती है विंडो सीट. हम भी वही बैठे थे. साथ में दो दोस्त भी थे. मजे से गाने सुनते हुए सफर शुरु किया. हमारी ट्रेन सुबह साढे पाँच बजे कालका स्टेशन पर पहुँच गयी. वहीं से टॉय-ट्रेन की रिजर्वेशन थी.
